Scarcity is a lie
Can you have for yourself the abundance that is true, everywhere, on this planet?
Does your definition of abundance include feeling well, having time to yourself, and having enough space to breathe and do as you please?
We’ve become used to equating value and abundance with how much money one has, but the truth is that having a lot of money doesn’t guarantee that you will feel abundant and prosperous. It doesn’t insure you against fear of the future, or make you happy.
Whether you have a lot or little money, it’s how you feel about what you do have that matters. If you feel prosperous no matter what your outside circumstances are, that is a whole different vibration than a constant feeling of scarcity.
There is also the glaringly obvious issue of greed, and the fact that a very tiny percentage of people on earth have managed to gobble up most of the money and resources. They’ve assigned themselves the owners of you and me. This is their picture, which doesn’t make it true.
We need to change our collective definition of ‘prosperity’.
The truth is that we live on an abundant planet. Scarcity is a lie that distorts the truth that is all around us. We are taught from birth to become consumers, because our current economic system is based on a lie. The lie says that we will only find fulfillment if we own more and more, and if we continue to grow and expand, and take up every inch of space we can.
This belief system doesn’t value having space, nature, and allowing the earth and its wealth to be enough. In a capitalist system, there is no ‘enough’. Consumption is the goal, sometimes simply for the sake of consumption, and almost always unconsciously. What we have now isn’t enough, we must always want more and bigger and better.
The problem with this way of living is that we will run out of planet to consume long before that internal emptiness that screams ‘never enough’ gets filled up. When we change how we look at what we already have, it’s easier to create more of what we do want. This is a spiritual evolution issue.
One of the easiest ways to become wealthy is to look at what you already possess. Your treasure house of resources includes your spirit, body, health, friendships, this earth, your belongings, your abilities… the list goes on and on. Abundance is the energy of being, and feeling, abundant. Why not begin today?
