Surrender to the healing gifts your spirit can bring
The greatest surrender seen in recent times has been a surrender to the spirit.
Many people are finding themselves, through no conscious effort of their own, forced to sit and be. Whether through job loss, illness, or other circumstances, people are having to stop moving. What happens when you stop Do-ing? There is a great chance that you can start Be-ing!
The biggest changes happening now are inside each one of us. There is a major redefinition that can occur within when this happens. An easy and elegant way to work on this for yourself is through a regular meditation practice. Meditation is like having a conversation with yourself, and with your body.
Being psychic needs no effort
Being psychic and accessing your psychic abilities requires no effort.
Your psychic abilities are natural and human. Being in effort just gets in the way of having your abilities on and working for you. Your intuition, clairvoyance, knowingness, telepathy, clairaudience, and other spiritual abilities, will seem unreal or unreachable to you if you’re in effort about having them.
If you find yourself in effort about being psychic, you may be in judgment of those very abilities you’re trying to access.
Your meditation practice can bring more fun into your life
Yes, meditation is fun!
If you're having fun, you're doing something right. Meditation is one of my favorite practices for bringing more fun into my life.
Is it fun to feel good? Do you enjoy being validated, feeling creative, energized and healthy, being able to decisively take action when you know you want to do so? Do you want to know more about who you are? All of this is about being able to find your own energy, and have your space. Personally speaking, I find all of this stuff fun.
The space between notes allows music to be heard
It’s easier than ever to fill your daily schedule with a long list of tasks to accomplish before the day’s end.
It’s simpler than ever to fill up all the available space with more and more of everything: things to do, acquire, learn, know, accomplish.
In our modern culture, being busy is considered more desirable than having time off. If you’re busy, that’s good, right? It means you have more value, or are making more money, or are more important, doesn’t it?
Stillness opens the door to vision and genius
Finding stillness in your inside world leads you to new awareness, inside and out.
When you handle a constant demand to do, something, anything - it’s difficult to have an awareness of what exists all around you.
Non-stop doing creates an escape from being, seeing, feeling, and experiencing, which is the point, as if one were running away from something. Doing can be an addiction, one that is easily fed in today’s world of non-stop activity. Plus there’s the added bonus of appearing to be virtuous because you’re working so hard. One can become a martyr to doing too much.
Slow down your daily pace in order to live more fully
Do you pay attention to how fast you are expected to move through your daily life?
Depending on what is happening in your life right now, you are faced with demands to get more done in your day, every day. This means you're expected to move faster, never slow down or stop moving, and produce produce produce.
You are the one making some of those demands on yourself, and it could be that you're used to doing things this way. It is a positive thing to get a lot of stuff done, and some days it's the right answer.
Are you responsible for healing the planet (and everyone on it)?
I've been asked this question many times: “I want to make a difference and heal the planet. To help others. What are my responsibilities on this planet?”
This is one of my very favorite topics, since I have much in common with those who have taken on a lot of responsibility. I was raised to be responsible, for everything and everyone.
