Change your energy and change your life
You are made of energy. Every part of you is energy: body, mind, and spirit.
Your emotions, creativity, abilities, intellect, interests, and all the rest, are energy. There’s energy in everything you do, say, feel, and decide to have. You have a personal style that comes from your unique energy. This is your spirit playing and creating, and it’s one of a kind.
The way you communicate with the world around you has energy. Your creative expression, your personal taste, your relationships with others, your health, finances, you name it – all have energy. Every time you change your energy, you change your life. Change any of your energy, and your life changes too.
Meditation brings inspiration and helps me manifest my creations
My best creative ideas don't show up when I'm in effort.
I cannot be trying hard in order to have brilliant ideas flowing. If I want gorgeous inspiration to show up and grace me with its presence, I have to relax and let go of any sticky desperate effort energy.
Inspiration is energy, and so are all the beautiful fun ideas that show up. Sometimes I get my best ideas while sitting in my meditation chair, eyes closed, breathing and grounding and releasing old energy. Regular meditation also helps me to have the ideas that show up, instead of judging them or immediately saying ‘no’ because I run into an unconscious fear about my ideas.
Stillness opens the door to vision and genius
Finding stillness in your inside world leads you to new awareness, inside and out.
When you handle a constant demand to do, something, anything - it’s difficult to have an awareness of what exists all around you.
Non-stop doing creates an escape from being, seeing, feeling, and experiencing, which is the point, as if one were running away from something. Doing can be an addiction, one that is easily fed in today’s world of non-stop activity. Plus there’s the added bonus of appearing to be virtuous because you’re working so hard. One can become a martyr to doing too much.
The treasure you’re looking for is always within you
Learning about yourself is a life long study.
There’s no limit to how far you can go, once you decide to get going on the road to self knowledge.
Like the colorful ragtag protagonists in ‘The Wizard of Oz’, you can get on your road and follow it to your own Emerald City, looking for treasure. Along the way you might run into a witch or two, as well as some other shady characters. “Oh no!” you might say, “I’m running into obstacles! Will I ever reach my treasure?”. Then one day you ‘arrive’ to find that the treasure you were looking for was always within you.
How does meditation help you with being psychic?
The word Psychic is traditionally defined as 'of or pertaining to, the human soul'.
A modern definition of psychic would add: 'being psychic means being sensitive to and aware of, energy'. Psychics read the energy of a person, place, event, or situation.
Being psychic is natural and human. Each human being possesses the ability to be psychic, though not everyone is aware of having it, or even wants it.
Energy is the stuff we are all made of. It's in everyone and everything.
What happens when you match to the energy vibration of the world around you?
You have the ability to match to a wide range of energy vibrations.
There's an endless assortment of energetic choices available daily, and everyone of us has the ability to work with one energy vibration or another. Or maybe a few all at once.
An energy vibration is a tone or range of tones of energy. Everything and everyone has energy, it's everywhere you look. You can run the energy of your family, a friend, someone you saw in a movie, or a problem you're trying to solve.
Create a daily practice and commit to your dreams
'Whatever the Universe brings me’ is a phrase I’ve heard uttered more times than I can count.
When someone says this in front of me, my response is typically, ‘but what do you want?’.
If you don’t know what you want, and are ordering ‘whatever’ for your life, indeed ‘whatever’ is what will come your way. However, it may not be the same ‘whatever’ you thought you might have someday. You're the one who has to commit to your path in order to get where you want to be.
Meditation helps you to let go of the fears of others
Here’s another great reason to get your daily meditation practice on.
Being a human being is pretty intense. There is a lot to get through, every day.
Especially during times of great change and upheaval, the level of intensity increases. This time counts as one of those times. Spiritual evolution is upon us, in a great big wonderful juicy way. Being able to let go of what you can't control is a skill to have right now.
Be safe enough to shine your own light
Many people believe that becoming invisible is a life strategy that will keep them safe.
They believe that if they show who they really are, and shine their light, bad things will happen to them.
If they dare to venture outside of the well known and secure life they have constructed around themselves, unknown bad things will show up, which is different from all the “known” bad things they see on TV and in the news, everyday.
Healing yourself is possible and within your reach
You have the power to heal yourself.
Healing yourself happens when you consciously choose, every day, how you'll spend your own energy.
This includes making choices about how you treat your body, which foods you eat, how much stress you hold onto, and what kinds of relationships you have in your life.
Grounding yourself can help you turn on your psychic abilities
Grounding is a tool you can use to connect yourself to the earth.
Grounding helps you to have safety within yourself. When you and your body feel safe, it's much easier to turn on your psychic abilities.
Grounding is one of the primary techniques taught in psychic meditation classes. It's simple to learn and practice grounding, and to use it in your daily life. Psychic meditation is a form of meditation designed to help you develop your psychic abilities safely, and heal yourself while doing so.
Notes on learning to listen deeply
Deep listening is an art.
The ability to listen deeply is more than simply hearing the noises of the city or your office or home. When you take the time to listen to yourself, your body, the earth, nature, spirit, other people, you receive information that helps you understand and grow. Listening deeply brings awareness.
Listening is an underrated ability these days. We are rushed and prodded and shamed and pushed to go faster than ever before, to not take the time to listen. Listening requires time and space, and if you have little to no time or space for yourself in your daily life, you won't be able to hear a lot of things, including and especially yourself.
