Waking up can be an alarming proposition
What shakes up when you wake up?
If it’s been feeling like an earthquake is happening even when the ground isn’t rocking, you are noticing the effects of huge change. This change is happening not just Out There but inside of you. You are in the process of waking up.
It’s time for a new way of doing business. The old structures are crumbling, mostly because we humans are done with them. We’ve learned what we created them to learn, and now we get to create new structures, and live in a new way, based on the information we have gleaned from the old.
Don’t take it personally, but it’s all about you
Each of us has experienced having our feelings hurt, whether it was unintentionally through another’s careless words and actions, or from someone who hurt us on purpose in order to see us suffer.
It’s hard to not take it personally when you feel mistreated and overlooked. It’s not fun to feel left out, ostracized, or insulted, no matter how old you are.
Not only does it hurt, it can cause you to doubt yourself, and to feel insecure about who you are.
If you’ve ever been excluded by your peers, family, schoolmates, workmates, or the society you come from, it can feel very personal.
The transformational power of love
The energy of love has great power to transform each human being on this planet.
So does the energy of hate.
In order to work its magic, love needs human beings to agree to have it, be it, become it.
In order to work its pain and terror, hate also needs human beings to agree to it, and to become it.
Love is a happy energy. The power of love is that it validates, soothes, heals, gives. Love is inclusive, community building, joyful.
Hate is miserable, closed minded, invalidating, divisive, sickening.
What is spiritual freedom?
The freedom to be healthy in body, mind, spirit, to have health on all levels of being, is all about spiritual freedom.
It begins in your spirit. There are certain freedoms we each take for granted in our lives each day.
While you would certainly defend your right to make your own choices, because they are a given for you, there may be other places where you haven't yet freed yourself. Spiritual freedom is the first step.
Clearing karma is completing old business
If you’ve been feeling like you’re living in the middle of a storm, you’re not alone.
It can be easy to feel isolated and all alone during times of great duress and stress; times of clearing karma.
If one shoe after another keeps falling on you, it can also be easy to take it personally.
Though it’s not easy, it’s not necessarily personal, either. If you feel overwhelmed, know that it’s a time that will pass, much like a storm does.
Becoming conscious about your spiritual agreements
Have you ever wondered why some people get angry when you change?
I first became aware of my spiritual agreements with others years ago, after I made changes in my life that I thought were good for me. In my enthusiasm, I thought my friends would think so too, and would be happy for me.
What does it mean to have your space?
As a psychic reader, I often look at the energy of having space.
Sometimes the person I’m reading has lost her or his space, given it up to something or someone else. Other energy has become more important in that person’s space than their own energy, needs, health, desires, dreams, or information.
This is a spiritual choice, and often an unconscious one. A psychic reading is a great place to say hello to this energy so that the person handling it can become conscious, and perhaps choose to let it go.
Currently many of us are working on where we have given up space to money and its ‘value’. When we give greater value to something outside of ourselves, we often undervalue the bountiful riches to be found within.
Spiritual agreements are part of everyday life
I was first introduced to spiritual agreements in the spring of 1999, when I joined the clairvoyant training at a psychic school in Chicago.
I joined the training because I wanted to learn how to turn on my own clairvoyant abilities safely, so that I could see and read the energy of people, situations, and most importantly, myself.
The work you do on you, helps you to do your work
The time you spend giving to and healing yourself, is time well invested.
Sometimes I allow myself to get so busy with my work and activities that I run myself down. I’ve been primarily self employed for most of my adult years, and in my ever present enthusiasm to create my latest thing, I shirk my responsibilities to my body from time to time.
I know when I’ve gone just a bit too far over the line, because I hit one of those days where my body basically tells me, “no, you are not doing a thing today”. I’ve learned over the years that I have to listen to what my body needs if I expect to have enough energy to show up tomorrow and do my work, so on those days I do my best to give my body the rest it wants.
Listen to your wild self
The other night in a dream, a wild earthy woman spoke to me.
Barefoot, wearing colorful clothing, she gave off a magical vibe. She stood near a fire, and on the earth. She belonged to the earth, and looked perfectly comfortable inside her own skin. She did not concern herself with others’ opinions of her.
I’ll have my non-judgment with a side of kindness please
As a clairvoyant student, I was trained in the art of non-judgment.
In order to see clairvoyantly, it is necessary to look without judging.
Non-judgment is also called neutrality. The ability to see neutrally is already within each of us, and we can decide to use it.
Looking at something or someone without judging means that it’s easier to see what’s really there. My clairvoyant training reminded me that I had the ability to see without judgment, and as soon as I began to work from this part of myself, my clairvoyant ability developed into a beautiful gift for my daily life.
Do you have to choose between freedom and approval?
Are you torn between choosing to have what you want, and needing to have others approve of you?
When you don’t have the freedom to choose to create or have what you truly want, you might be giving up your space to fears that others won’t like you if you do the things you really want to do.
If you’re afraid you’ll anger someone or hurt their feelings if you change, you are allowing your need for their approval to control you. You cannot blame somebody else for this. It’s within your power to change it, not theirs.
