the art of being psychic
Self image pictures and your clairvoyant ability
I’ve been looking at and thinking about self image pictures this week, notably having a clear view of oneself.
I started thinking about this energy, the themes and pictures around it, last week while exchanging readings with a fellow clairvoyant, a colleague and friend.
Why human creativity matters now more than ever before
Nothing outside of you can replace your unique and creative human spirit.
Especially when you care for it, feed it, and give it room to play, your creative spirit will reward you time and time again with a deepening knowing, trust, and certainty. One of the things I’ve learned from being an artist is that I can trust that I’ll find my way to the next steps or an answer in my creative process, because even in the darkest of times I’ve done so before. I know that if I show up, I’ll get there eventually.
Can you let your light be seen?
When you show up as your true self, it is you who will be seen.
It sounds simple enough, doesn't it? If you want to be seen as yourself, you have to show up and be who you are.
This means you’ll need to let go of any energy that tells you you're not enough, and that you should hide until you earn the right to step up.
Joy and Grief
I am the first born of a family that became 6 children, two parents, and an assortment of dogs over the years.
My brother Jack was born 13 months after me, so we were kinda like Irish twins, in that we were closest in age for a while and hung out together a lot as kids. We actually liked each other and didn’t fight or compete too much, as I recall. He was also my partner in crime for a few capers when we were quite small, and again later on as teenagers.
Clairvoyant teachers share what's fun about teaching the art of seeing energy
What’s it like to teach others how to turn on and use their psychic abilities?
I get to work with people from all over the world who are interested in learning how to turn on their own psychic abilities in a safe way, with skilled teachers who’ve been practicing and working with their own clairvoyant abilities for many years. I love my job!
Validation from within can never be taken away
When you choose to believe in yourself, you’re ignoring the status quo that says you require approval from others in order to proceed with your belief in you.
Many of us, myself included, have been the cheerleaders and validators for others in our lifetime - whether friends, family, students, clients, co-workers, strangers we meet and encourage.
Notes on Being a Professional Psychic Reader, part two
The demand to predict the future is intense, and often invalidating.
When you require predictions from outside of you for what is going to happen in the future, you invalidate your own spirit’s ability to see, know, and most importantly, create. You give away your power to create your future.
Notes on Being a Professional Psychic Reader, part one
Who is your professional practice for? Whom do you want to serve?
When I first started my own journey as a clairvoyant student, learning the art of seeing energy and reading it for myself and others, one of my underlying thoughts was that I could use this to help.
Psychic abilities are more fun to have when you feel safe
It’s not fun to be psychic if you don’t have control over your abilities.
When you can’t control how your psychic abilities are working, it can feel unsafe to be psychic. You might even feel like psychic abilities aren’t a positive creative thing to have in the first place.
Planetary healing begins with you
You have the power to change yourself.
With that power comes great responsibility - not to change for others in a way that they want to see you change, but to change for yourself, to become more of who you are here to be.
How do you know your own energy?
You might say that there are two kinds of energy in existence - your own energy, and energy that isn't yours.
The tricky part of this is knowing the difference between the two. It's not that the energy that isn't yours is wrong, it's that it won't work as well inside of you as your own energy will.
When it's time to commit, and when it's time to let go
Should you stay, or should you go?
Is what you are committing your energy to, still working for you? I am the last person to tell you what you should do. You may have a few well-meaning folks who are only trying to … ahem - help, by making sure you know what you should do.
